Article B. Civil Registry Fees

Section 5B.01 Imposition of fees - The following shall be collected for the services rendered by the civil Registrar of the City of Olongapo.

Section 5B.02 Exemptions - The above shall not be collected in the following cases:

a. Issuance of certified copies of documents for official use at the request of a competent court or another government agency;

b. Burial permit of a pauper per recommendation of the City Mayor.

c. Applicants belonging to an indigent family, may avail of the services for free provided that the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) will certify that they do not have the capacity to pay.

Section 5B.03 Time of Payment - The fees shall be paid to the City Treasurer's Office before the registration of a document or issuance of the license or certified copy of a local registry or document.

Section 5B.04 Administrative Provision - A marriage license shall not be issued unless a certification is issued by the family Planning Coordinating Council that the applicants had undergone lectures on family planning.
